Navotas is a city in the Philippines located north of Manila that is known as the Fishing Capital of the Philippines. The city has the third largest fish port in Asia and the largest in Southeast Asia. Although it was established on December 20, 1827, Navotas celebrates its foundation day every January 16. Navotas became a highly-urbanized city on June 24, 2007.

Mantis Shrimp is also called "Tatampal" in Tagalog. This is one of the best products in Navotas City. This is similar to Lobster, Crab, and Shrimp who has shell. This is the one of delicious seafood in Navotas.

Navotas is famous because of large and fresh fish. Since Navotas has the largest fishing port in the Philippines, it has large and fresh fish that can be sold out throughout the Philippines.

Shrimp Paste is one of the tastiest spice in Philippines. It is made of Shrimp or Fish and it's very salty. Sometimes Filipinos put it on Kare-kare and Indian Mango.

Fish sauce is a condiment made from fish coated in salt and fermented for weeks to up to two years. It is used as a staple seasoning in various cuisines in Southeast and East Asia, particularly Burmese, Cambodian, Filipino, Thai, Lao, and Vietnamese cuisines.
Crab (Alimango)
Crab is also called Alimango in Tagalog. It is a seafood that have a hard shell. It is similar to Lobster and Mantis Shrimp.
